Background

The Wimmera leads Australia as our best-performing, cereal cropping region. During 2016, 2017, (some of) 2018 and 2019 the Wimmera was the primary target for Miles Research Weather Moderation demonstrator projects.

Located in western Victoria, Wimmera farming encompasses dairy and cropping in the south, and dryland farming to the north. It also boasts many important towns and historic sites, including a num ber of very strong farming communities in Horsham, Warracknabeal, Dimboola, Stawell and Nhill...

Almost all of the Wimmera dependens on grain production and sheep farming, and 100% of rely on good rainfall to produce profit.

Many farmers have excelled during recent Miles Research project years wherin abundant timely rainfall was a norm.

Problem

Nature can deliver sufficient rains for abundant yields. And when lower rainfall occurs, farming communities often face hardship. In some years they see both abundance and hardship due to crop damage from adverse weather. But farmers embrace the rigour, in return for the healthy active lifestyle they love.

Solution

Weather variability has aflicted global farming communities annually, for millenia.

Modern agriculture has sought 'salvation' through applied sciences, in thre hope of achieving improved weather forecasting, and a greater precision with on-farm technologies. More recently some advances in genetics have permitted the development of 'uniquely robust' crop species variants.

Miles Research has taken a different approach in the pursuit of a means to modify weather outcomes.

...developed a systematic means to change weather by disrupting the patterns of pressure systems, that define it. Results Link

Like the difference irrigation makes to cropping when its available, Weather Moderation can restrict the dry periods and manage rainfall within acceptable parameters.

Weather variability has afflicted global farming communities annually, for millennia.

Background

As the Weather Moderation technology and the precision services have been developed, significant demonstrations have been run on behalf of communities and governments. When applied to Agriculture as an example, seasonal crops were protected and significantly enhanced by adjusting the trajectory, shape and timing of rain systems in real time.

Some examples may be downloaded in an A3 summary here -

Weather Moderation has been successfully applied for:

  • Agriculture
  • Insurance (disaster mitigation)
  • Emergency / Fire Management
  • Catchment Management
  • Humanitarian (disaster mitigation)

In Australia, communities have recently endured among the most severe of droughts. Media and government have even referenced this time as: "the worst drought in living memory." It was during the height of this drought in 2019, that Miles Research clients across the Wimmera, enjoyed timely soaking rains, and produced some of their best crops ever. Miles Research has commenced some testing for Emergency Management, during recent Eastern Australian fires. Examples and video are time-date stamped in the Miles Research Twitter feed here - https://twitter.com/MilesResearch/status/1221123289835167745?s=20

Leadership

David Miles has devoted a quarter of a century to the refinement of technology for the "spatial and temporal moderation of weather." He is the grandson of a Gippsland dairy farmer whose father left the region to pursue a more technically oriented career in Melbourne. David is an Industrial Designer, inventor, and entrepreneur with the ambition to reach the nations with a solution for drought, has driven him to venture beyond the line of duty.

David is backed by a team of dedicated........

David call Australia his home but as worked on projects the Africa, The Middle East, The US and of course Australia.

The Process

Miles Research does not "make rain." Rather it seeks to adjust regional weather patterns that otherwise may force existing. natural rain systems to depart their normal seasonal trajectories and travel outside the desired target.

Projects objectives are framed in such a way as to never exacerbate humanitarian issues. Weather modification services are aimed towards the reinstating of natural seasonal weather patterns, rather than opposing them.

Miles Research begins with observation and study of near-future events, using all available weather modelling we have found a way to link a weather engine to the weather corridor and upload changes into our weather engine that we observe in the atmosphere, then we are able to see those changes implemented incrementally in the atmosphere.

The flight corridors of rain systems are vulnerable to the positioning of all the pressure systems, by influencing the total position of all the pressure systems on the planet or in the southern hemisphere or in the northern hemisphere, we can orchestrate a desired result.

The technology brings together leading forecasting, live soil-moisture and crop-cycle data with farmer requirements and an innovative system that can open a 'gateway' into future events. Utilising (forward-event) data immersion with the 'gateway tool-set' operators can execute a scalable weather moderation, in order to defeat crop threats ahead of time.

The program culminates in the re-shaping of spatial and temporal structures of important rainfall events, combined with atmospheric 'shielding' of crops when required by clients.

It's a calibration exercise to adjust the high and low systems in order to drive and deliver rain systems over the target.

The Weather Engine

During the last decade, we have been developing a unique ‘weather engine’ technology, with the help of loyal backers, supporters and cereal cropping clients. This breakthrough technology involves accessing, and then incrementally modifying, converging weather phenomena.

● Clients involved received timely rainfall

● Targets (Wimmera, Vic) produced record breaking yields

● Predicted flooding was also averted

We have discovered a way to connect a model of the atmosphere – sealed within a vault – with live and near-future weather.

Modelling data is projected into our system, using [PROTECTED TECHNOLOGY] for example holographic lasers, in order to provide a forward-in-time, ‘weather continuum.’ This provides a realistic, time sensitive model of weather and allows us to concentrate our weather moderation efforts on any day within the continuum.

This 4D model of weather is then ‘paired,’ via [a PROTECTED PROCESS] – basically quantum physics described as entanglement, and then carefully calibrated. Calibration involves ‘pinging’ the atmosphere (via our platform as the gateway), to trigger changes which may then be detected in forthcoming meteorological updates. For example: when we initiate rainfall in Australia, we begin to observe rain-positive changes which appear in the Bureau of Meteorology’s (BOM) daily Prognostic charts. (These occur as a result of the Bureau’s detection and reporting of physical changes in atmospheric).†

Once calibrated, the operational platform, then permits incremental adjustments to be made to the dynamic atmospheric pressure systems, (the Highs and Lows), which in turn reshape an invisible corridor, that is formed by the atmospheric path of least resistance, through which rain systems flow.††

When seeking to deliver rainfall over a specific target, we often slow down a passing Low / High pressure system for example, and also endeavour to increase flow-rate of precipitable moisture. When rain-rates are consistent and within acceptable parameters, slowing down the passage of the event can rapidly increase the volumes of rain received by farmers.

When delivering rainfall into a region for clients, we are careful to ensure that neighbouring properties / regions will benefit (positively), should they also receive rainfall. On any project’s initiation, its defining parameters must provide for safe, acceptable and seasonally appropriate results. All commercial and humanitarian projects must comply with our ethical and environmental rules in order, to proceed.

Get involved today...

After years of drought and weather uncertainty and facing a future of climate uncertainty Miles Research is looking to work with farmers throughout the southern regions of Australia on an ongoing basis to optimise crop yield and bring consistent prosperity to Australian farmers.

Pledge to your region today and begin to create a worry-free future.

Contact us to begin the journey to consistent prosperity in your region.

Our standard projects are 90 days (variables possible) and operate seasonally. You can choose to engage us for a single season or for longer term for annual optimisation of rain fall.

Consistent weather management requires complex and expensive systems and technology. Accuracy is dependent upon it. After almost two decades of working and perfecting the process we now know that cutting corners only leads to missed targets.

At Miles Research we want to deliver on our promises every time, to do this we must use live feeds of weather systems across the country and beyond to determine the best way to proceed for everyone.

Conclusion

With so much uncertainty in the world as climates change and technology advances in modification systems used by governments there is now an opportunity to take control and not be at the mercy of forces outside of your control.
